Newtox

Jeuveau (also known as Newtox) is used by both men and women to treat fine lines and wrinkles, and is an alternative to Botox and Dysport. Dallas and Fort Worth area women and men are erasing the signs of aging with Reflections Med Spa and Dr. Charles Wallace. We work hand and hand to erase the signs of aging.

What is Newtox?

Jeuveau, also known as #NEWTOX, is a modern-made neurotoxin approved by the FDA to temporarily improve the appearance of frown lines. Jeuveau is another excellent, non-surgical option that reduces the effects of aging and helps regain a more youthful appearance. Newtox is the first and only product of its kind dedicated exclusively to aesthetics. As the fourth neurotoxin to hit the market (and the only new option in almost a decade), Newtox is made using a state-of-the-art manufacturing process called Hi-Pure™ technology.

A natural appearance with Newtox

We are advocates of natural looking results with all of the treatments we offer. This treatment will soften areas of concern such as forehead, crow’s feet around the eyes, chin dimples, and lip lines. Our goal is to maintain your natural appearance while smoothing and relaxing features without surgery.

What is the difference between Botox and Newtox ?

Overall Newtox and Botox are very similar. Both are a type of botulinum type A used to relax the muscles that cause frown lines. With that being said, Newtox such as Botox, is also used to address other fine lines and wrinkles as well. Through experience our patients may find that they prefer one to the other for their desired outcomes. Newtox is also the first product of its kind that is exclusively dedicated to aesthetics, but competitive brands such as Botox, Dysport, and Xeomin are also effective. Some individuals prefer a certain brand based on their own personal experience.

How is the treatment done?

During a typical procedure, we evaluate which areas need to be treated based on your facial expressions and lines created. The area is cleaned and prepped with ice if requested, and a small needle is then used at the injection sites. A visit typically lasts only 10 minutes long, and our patients easily tolerate the minor pinch sensation at the injection sites.

When will I see results and how long will it last?

Patients will start seeing results from Newtox in five to seven days, and full correction occurs in 14 days. Patients may see results faster with Newtox than they will with other products due to purification process. The results of Newtox (or competitive neurotoxin brands such as Botox, Dysport, or Xeomin) can last anywhere from three to four months. As the muscle action gradually returns the lines and wrinkles begin to reappear and need to be treated again. The lines and wrinkles often appear less severe with time because the muscles are being trained to relax.

Will I have down time or any side effects?

There is no real downtime associated with a Newtox treatment. After your treatment you may see sleight redness at the injection site immediately after treatment that diminishes very quickly. Some patients may have a temporary bruise at the injection site. A small percentage of patients may develop eyelid drooping. This usually ends within three weeks. Drooping usually happens when the Newtox moves around, so don’t rub the treated area for 12 hours after injection or lie down for five hours after procedure. We also recommend no strenuous activities for 24-hour post treatment. Patients are able to return to normal schedule following your treatment. It is important to allow your face time to recover.

Am I a candidate for Newtox?

If you are frustrated by fine lines and wrinkles you are a excellent candidate for Newtox treatment. Men and women in their 20’s, 30’s, are using Newtox to prevent the signs of aging as they begin. No matter what age you are if you are dealing with fine lines, and wrinkles the is a great treatment for you. Our certified injectors and Dr. Wallace, we always offer free cosmetic consultations and encourage anyone considering Newtox or other rejuvenation procedures to speak with our certified specialists to customized treatment protocol. Patients who are allergic to the ingredients in Newtox or have had allergic reactions to other Botulinum products should consult with their physician prior to treatment. Patients should also disclose to their physician whether they are pregnant, plan to become pregnant, are breast-feeding or have used other Botulinum injections in the past.

How much does Newtox cost?

Newtox and other brand name toxins are priced based on the number of units used on the individual, and how much you will require is based on the areas you need treated and overall severity of wrinkles. Our providers can give you a quote based on a free consultation. Some practices quote based on an overall area, but Reflections Med Spa bases cost on what is actually used. There is no question you are getting the best value.

For your convenience, we accept cash, check, Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Discover. Financing options via Care Credit are also available.
